Miscellaneous Ramblings

I am sitting here at my computer, taking a few spare minutes before I sew to post. So seeing as I don't have a strict subject to talk about, this is ending up a miscellaneous ramblings.

On Sunday evening our youth group went to a Haunted Trail, and I decided to go along. I had never been to one before (check that, I'd never been to any kind of Halloween horror sort of thing) and thought it might be fun. So we got there, stood in line for maybe 40 minutes, and then climbed onto the army jeep with a hobo guide. The theme for this year's was 'Nursery Rhymes and Fairy Tales'. So we started out by driving through Little Red Riding Hood's diner. As I sat next to my friend, and across from two others, I wondered 'is this going to be scary, or just kind of'. When we got through the gates I got my answer. Men dressed up as wolves jumped up onto our jeep and grabbed at us. I dove for the aisle, as did my friends. One of them almost got pulled off the jeep. I knelt in the aisle, whispering 'oh my gosh oh my gosh' in utter shock and horror. I'm not really ashamed to admit I was hanging onto my friends when the hobo made us get off the jeep and walk through the rest. Pure terror ensued for me when the guys with chain saws showed up. For some reason that scared me way more than any of the other things. I was screaming my head of with a death grip on my dad's jacket.
I think that I learned on the Haunted Trail that there are totally different kinds of fear, and that you can experience them all in one night. But I do suggest that you go on a Haunted trail of some sort; it's fun to be terrified out of your wits sometimes.

I got new boots (see picture in top left heart ;). What do you think of them? I'm really excited.

One last thing; what do you think of the new blog design?

hullo, ellie! in response to your comment on my blog:
yes, i've seen some of titanic. not all of it, but i think it's good that way, since i know what's going to happen. if you do decide to watch it, prepare to be depressed for days. just saying. that movie is just plain-old tragic, but then again i think you already knew that.
also, of course you can come to the wedding!! great post :))
