I figured that since not much exciting is happening in my life at the moment, I'd clarify why I named my blog what I did. 'blue jeans and teen dreams' is the first thing I thought of, and I went with it after I caught myself calling it that in my mind.
The 'blue jeans' part comes from my love of denim. I wear blue jeans practically every day, save when I'm wearing skirts. I also wear my jean jacket all the time. So that part was really quite practical for me.
The 'teen dreams' part was a little harder to sell on my mom. Her practical argument was that I'm not going to be a teen forever. But I insisted, since I'm a huge dreamer, and I'm a teen through and through. And yes, I'm going to give you an example, that you'll probably regret reading ;)
My biggest dream is that someday I'll be a singer. No, I didn't say that'd I'd be a famous singer, just a singer. I love singing, and so I naturally want that to be my career path. Cross your fingers?
