O Canada

I'm sitting in the terminal at Toronto. There's quite a while yet before our plane is set to head to Rome. The first flight went really well, I'm glad to say. (I've never posted on an iPad before, so please pardon the mistakes I'm sure to make.) I'm tired already, so I'm sure I'll sleep on the plane. I'm secretly hoping that the plane has wifi, because texting my cousins from over the ocean would be beast.

We had an early morning, but that meant the day won't seem so long. When we arrived here in Toronto about an hour ago (that's a complete guess, I have no idea how long its actually been), we had to go through customs and security again, and then find lunch. I had this delicious chicken and Dijon sandwich. I even think the bun was made at the cafe; it certainly tasted like it could have been.

I really wish we had time to explore here in Toronto, but I suppose we can't do everything. It fascinated me, during the descent, to see how different Toronto is than America. America from the air is a giant checkerboard of many colors. Canada, however, has many different shapes in its layout, which makes it more fun to look at. I'd also forgotten how much I love flying. I've always loved liftoff.

I hope you all are having a wonderful day, and I'm hoping to update you all soon. I'm not sure when my first arranged post will be up, but it should be sometime this week.

Xoxo,

Ellie
